OK, so the weather is not exactly Spring-ish...but we do have some big Group Life news for the upcoming weeks:
First of all, THANK YOU LEADERS for your incredible service, leadership, and love to Jesus and His people. What you do week in & week out really matters - and I thank God for you in my prayers! Keep up the amazing work!
April, 2010 will launch our new "spring quarter" groups.
Here are some important Spring dates:
April 4th:
CCW Easter/ Cardboard Testimonies services!
If you or someone in your group would like to present a cardboard testimony during our 3 Easter services, please contact Kathy Helmuth in the CCW office.
April 7-11th:
CCW "Servolution".
Keep your ears peeled for info - your group can join together for a weekend of community service & outreach like never before.
Plans include a Lake Aurora Camp trip, multiple outreach projects in Hernando County, Neighborhood Clean-Up, and more.
Plan now on your group adopting or creating a project to do together. Go to www.servolution.org for ideas, etc.
April 18, 25, and May 2:
Foundations 3: Loving Others through CCW Group Life.
Sunday mornngs, 9:00 AM building B.
April 18 - October 13:
** Family Roots: An All- Church ACTS Study. **
All CCW small groups will be encouraged to study through the book of ACTS together. This campaign will go along with our Sunday AM Sermons, Wednesday night special studies, and more. All groups / home groups will be given a 6 month study guide to use; sermon notes will include group questions...plus new groups / leaders will be trained and started using this material.
More to come...just a heads up - look forward to ACTS beginning in APRIL!
